San Miguel sits at the center of the most travelable part of central Mexico. Within ninety minutes you can be in a pre-Hispanic pyramid complex, a colonial silver town, a tile workshop in Dolores Hidalgo, or a vineyard in Querétaro. Pace yourself: one day trip per scouting trip is plenty.
