Festivals & Events

The annual rhythm that decides when hotels fill, when streets close & when the city is at its best.

    The annual calendar

Almost every week of the year in San Miguel has something on the calendar, from neighborhood patron-saint feasts to international festivals. These are the ones worth planning a trip around, & the ones worth knowing if you are picking a closing date.

Día de Muertos, Festivals & Events in San Miguel de Allende

    Oct 31 - Nov 2

    Día de Muertos

San Miguel does Day of the Dead with conviction: altars in every plaza, La Catrina parades, marigolds banked against church doors. The week the city looks most like itself.
