    The Arts District

The first designated art district in this UNESCO World Heritage city, Guadalupe features over 100 elaborate graffiti murals, many depicting Huichol mythology and Day of the Dead themes. Abutting Centro to the north, it has undergone dramatic gentrification over the past decade. Still a close, flat walk to the Jardín, you'll find cozy streets mixing new construction with older Mexican homes, small shops, and creative restaurants. The Riverwalk trail along the northern boundary adds even more appeal. If you have an artistic bent, this is your neighborhood.

Guadalupe is the first designated arts district in San Miguel, immediately northwest of Centro and famous for its more than 100 large-scale murals. Properties range from small townhouses to renovated colonial homes, with entry-level pricing for the area and clear appreciation as the neighborhood matures. Walkable to Centro, packed with studios & ateliers, it suits artists, creatives & value-minded buyers comfortable with an up-and-coming setting.
